I disagree. I stopped reading after page 18 because there was more 'telling' of the story (history of the dragons) than 'showing'. Even though this may be one book in a series, it is never a good idea to 'tell' me what, when, where, and why. Show me or I lose interest. The story itself is interesting, but I believe potential readers should begin with the first book. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
