Garlic does not effect Vampires from True Blood at all. You also forgot to mention that Eric can fly.

All Eric would have to do is pick Jacob up, fly into the air, then drop him from a thousand feet or just punch him in the back and rip out his spine. This fight would seriously last about 10 seconds.
