Or, better yet, let the authors themselves explain it to you. You see, we got five of our outstanding paranormal romance and urban fantasy writers–Lara Adrian, Harry Connolly, Lucy A. Snyder, Kelly Meding, and Stacia Kane–to come together in a collaborative effort to write a single story–not an easy thing. Luckily for us, they wrote not only a great story, but about the experience of developing the characters, world, and plot with other authors.
And while I’m linking to the first post, by Lara Adrian, make sure you read the rest of the posts as well. Because, like A GLIMPSE OF DARKNESS, these blog entries were a collaborative effort as well, with each author answering questions from the previous one, and posing new ones to the next.
Obviously I find this fascinating because I got to–along with Mike Braff–be in the middle of one of the cooler creative sessions I’ve ever been a part of. But don’t take my word for it: take the authors’.
