Stacia Kane Gets L.A. Inked

Stacia Kane Gets L.A. Inked

Del Rey author Stacie Kane knows how to celebrate a book release. In honor of her new Unholy trilogy, Stacia decided to get a tattoo—on national television. In the upcoming season of Discovery Channel’s LA Ink, you can see Stacia get tattooed with a Seshat hieroglyph, the Egyptian goddess of writing and writers. “I basically promised myself that if the book sold I could really call myself a writer,” says Stacia. Stacia certainly has that title locked in: her break out trilogy has been called “gripping” by Charlaine Harris and “urban fantasy at its best” by Karen Marie Moning. Look for the first two dark and sexy novels, Unholy Ghosts and Unholy Magic, in stores now, and watch out for City of Ghosts on July 27th. This series is, by far, the best thing I’ve read all year. This third book is amazing. I could go on and on about it. I would hope that Stacia is offered a contract to continue past book 5. I think her work is amazing, and I can’t wait until Fall 2011 for her 4th Dowside Ghosts release.
